Got some great photos or the urge to write an article? Fantastic! Here's what we're looking for...

Articles should be submitted in Word (2003 or earlier version), Rich Text or Plain Text format (as attachment) or sent in the body of an email message. Please email articles to kayt110@earthlink.net, NOT to the Yahoo RE Group (RedElvises@yahoogroups.com). Photos should be .jpg files, sent as email attachments. If you have enough photos that you want to burn them to a CD and snailmail it, please write to the Editor at kayt110@earthlink.net for a street address.

Please let us know if you'd like your email addy to be put on your article or photo gallery so other fans can send you fan mail of your very own!

Album Review The Red Elvises put out new albums regularly; let everyone know what you think of the newest one! Album reviews should be fairly detailed (what songs are on it? How do they compare to previous albums? Etc.), and about 500 - 1000 words in length (slightly longer is fine if you need to say more).
Field Report We're looking for fairly detailed reports on recent concerts, any length. These are for the fans who couldn't make it to the show, so be descriptive! Did you do a road trip to get there? Did you brave it alone or take a bunch of friends? What did the guys play? What did they wear? How was the crowd? The fans want to know! Length should be however long it needs to be to tell the story.
Opinion Articles about some aspect of the band that intrigues/attracts/whatevers you. Why do you like the band? How'd you first come across them? What impact have they had on your life? Do they make you think of kumquats? Did they inspire you to learn Russian? Tell the world about it! (Any length, go with your inspiration!)

Photos Did you take a camera to their last gig? Share your pictures with us! Preferably multiple photos from one event. Email digital photos to kayt110@earthlink.net and they will be color-corrected if neeeded and resized to our standard size, so no prep work is necessary, just send 'em, thanks! If you use a film camera then please scan your photos at 200 or 300 resolution if possible, make them .jpeg file format and email them. Our standard fanzine size is 700 pixels along the long side. Full size versions only are needed, no thumbnails necessary! The more the merrier; high quality is always appreciated but even if your camera's not top of the line we'd still like to see your photographic efforts. Be creative, and don't be afraid to zoom in or get close if you can.
Elvis Sightings Catch one of the Elvises' TV or film appearances? Tell your fellow fans all about it. We want details! What was the show about? Was it good, aside from the band being on it? Do tell!
The Grateful Red Have you driven more than half a day to see the Elvises? Tell us about the experience - how was the drive? Where and why did you go? How was the concert? Length should be as long as it takes to tell us all. Accompanying photos to embed into the articles appreciated!
Fan Artwork! Have you felt inspired by Red Elvises to create an original work of art? Have you made dolls of the band (not voodoo dolls, hopefully!)? Sculpted giant balalaikas out of welded-together metal? Creativity can take many forms, from painting a picture to decorating a room to revamping a vehicle or just about any type of creative expression that shows the world your devotion to Your Favorite Band! Whether you work in oils, charcoals, red spray paint or wield a welding torch this is the new Red Pages feature for you! Email photos of your artistic endeavors to kayt110@earthlink.net (for now...Art Director TBA).
Nice Shoes! Inspired by a question in FAQ. We want a complete gallery of photos of the band members' shoes! Please provide large and thumbnail (about 125 pixels wide) closeups of those amazing shoes. Don't forget to say whose shoes they are!

Think you have what it takes? Email the Editor with your article or photos!
