Red Elvises came to Vancouver again and it was another awesome show! It was on Sunday, December 16th at the Railway club and it was a $15 cover. The show started at 9:30pm and went to 11:30pm.

I went with my friends, Connie, Mike, Michelle and my boyfriend, Kyle.

This time only Igor, Oleg and Adam rocked us out. Adam told my friend Michelle during intermission "there was supposed to be a keyboardist, but they were stuck at the border."

They played the songs: “Closet Disco Dancer,” “Gypsy Heart,” “Love Rocket,” Rocket Man,” “Boogie on the Beach,” “200 lbs of Pure Love,” “200 Flying Girls,” “My Darling Lorraine,” “Strip Joint is Closed,” “Ticket to Japan,” “Drinking with Jesus” and “Juliet.”

They also played “Sad Cowboy Song” and there was a conga line. Actually, my friends and I were in the conga line. (I added some pics of the congo line.) We got some beer on our jackets, but it was still cool!

They also sang "I want to see you Bellydance" and this time they only had three bellydancers, but they made the song a little better. Not like it needs it. They also did a wicked cover to Chris Isaak's song"Wicked Game." They ended the night with "Jerry's Got the Squeeze Box."

The place was crowded and the fans were awesome. There were two girls who came to the show and kept trying to dance with my boyfriend. The two girls annoyed me and everyone else.

Then all of a sudden, the crowd behind us got out of control a bit and somehow pushed everyone over, pushing me into the speaker! I got a small red spot on my stomach that hurt for a few days. It was still worth it and it was fun! The other Red Elvises fans were worried about me after seeing me get pushed, but I was all right. The two girls finally left, but the Red Fans were mad at them. Either way, Red Elvises got the fans back into the groove and just having fun.

I had a blast and bought the Red Elvises Greastest Hits CD which I am loving right now!

It was a fun show and now I can say "I got red at a Red Elvises show!" LOL! I can't wait till they come back again and soon I hope.
