Happy New Year! We made it through another year and I hope all of you who celebrate had happy holidays as well as the opportunity to see Red Elvises at least once or twice this past year. If they didn't come your way in 2007 then hopefully they will in 2008. While many people have been dreaming of sugarplums and snow, we Red Elvises fans dream of a new CD, a wish we may well get this year.
Just in case anyone missed it in the last few days before Christmas when it was added, we have included the Snowball Fight JibJab animated video of Red Elvises' heads on elf bodies having a snowball fight. It's Christmasy, yes, but hey, some people still have their decorations up and some may not have discarded their trees yet, so if you don't mind a bit of carryover Christmas cheer, this is a fun little video to watch. What else does this issue have in store? We have a witty new Fan of the Month for you, a write up of the latest Vancouver show, a new book recommendation (an exciting novel this time, set in Russia in 1917), lots of photos thanks to Jamie, Mary and Danielle, some new games we hope you'll enjoy playing (Remember that Tetris was created by a Russian?) and even some yummy red-themed recipes, including brownies made with red wine!
Red Elvises decided to take the Spring off for the most part but be sure to watch the tour schedule for additions and some shows in the Summer and Fall.
To everyone reading this, a heartfelt thanks for your support for the band! Consider yourselves true comrades and give yourselves a pat on the back! Hope you enjoy the January issue! Tell your friends, and keep supporting and enjoying Red Elvises! Here's to even more red fun in 2008!!
