Greetings, Red Elvisesites Everywhere!
We have another big issue for you this month, with absolutely HUGE thanks to everyone who sent in write ups and photos of shows on the current tour! Now this is what this fanzine is all about - fans sharing happy Red Elvises memories, words and photos with other fans!! I do so appreciate the fine efforts of all who submitted material this month and encourage everyone else who sees Red Elvises this Fall to do the same! We want to see you belly dance!! And, more importantly for the fanzine, we want to see your pictures and read all about the shows!! Also, if any of you have any ideas for our Standing Feature "You May Be a Red Elvises Fan if..." be sure to send them in.
Another first for The Red Pages - we liked young Aleksander's Fan of the Month interview so much last month that we are re-running it (not to mention I have been running all around Florida and North Carolina in October with little time to recruit!). If you missed our youngest ever Fan of the Month's interview, here it is again. We will have a new Fan of the Month in December.
We are proud to present new road pictures from Oleg! In the past we've thoroughly enjoyed his photographic contributions so now we can once again! And there are more where these came from, so kick back, have a cold beverage of your choice and prepare to enjoy some fine photos from the camera of Your Favorite Big Red Bass Balalaika player!
If you live in Texas or can get there and haven't yet seen Red Elvises live, your chance is happening in November! Hopefully these articles and photos will inspire you... you too can be part of the fun! Next month the Florida documentation continues with tales and photos from Marathon and Key West. There just wasn't time to include it all in November's issue. Some hints to whet your appetite for next month's photos? The van and trailer got washed in Marathon... Adam and Elena and some other people went on a big boat where snorkeling ensued... and good times were had by all who saw them at the Florida shows... Check it out next month!
