It`s hard to be a helicopter.. when you don`t have a radio!

Wellllll..... It's time I update this baby. And boy do I have a update for you all! I have had so much fun in the last few weeks. I don't really know where to start. I guess first of all I should start off by telling you all about the Red Elvises. The Red Elvises are a surf rock/rockabilly/whatever the hell you want it to be band from Santa Monica, CA. Three of the five members are from Russia. Igor (Lead Singer), Oleg (Bass), & Sasha (Keys). The other two are from Texas and Connecticut. Roman (Saxaphone), and Craig (Drums).

Ever since I took my sister Amy to go see them at Skippers Smokehouse she has been a die hard Red Elvises fan. To break it down for all of you I have seen them four times in the last two weeks from Tampa to Jacksonville, all the way to Atlanta, GA. My sister and I have made good friends with the band and now we go to every show we can and sell merchandise for them just out of pure craziness/fun. I will start by telling you the latest chapter of our trip since there has been so much it would take a few hours to write it all and I probably still wouldn't remember everything that happened.

Show # 4- Atlanta,Ga

It all started with a 7 and a half hour drive to Georgia. Then getting to Georgia, finding out the place that Oleg told us that they were staying at was out of rooms, going to the place begging for a room, getting a room/shithole, then find out they weren't staying there. Found out from Oleg where they ended up staying (Econo Lodge) so we ended up leaving the crap hotel and going to the Econo Lodge in Decatur, Ga. Getting a room (Which was five times the size of the other room) And hanging out until it was dinner time, where all of us went to this awesome pizza place and had some goood fooood with the guys. The Red Elvises didn`t go on till one in the morning and ended at about 3am but it was all fun selling merchandise and making new friends with crazy people. After the show Roman, Sasha, Craig, My sister and I hung out in their hotel room, we watched tv, talked and drank beer out of plastic cups with ice. \m/.. Oh yeah, we know how to party like rockstars. lol. In the morning/afternoon.. after we all woke up and got our asses out of bed and moving we went on a drive around Georgia and almost ended up close to Alabama just to find a food place. We stopped at "The Grand Buffet" in a really crappy part of town. Oleg said it was a nice part of town because there was strip clubs. Yeah, okay... whatever, Oleg. The place was nice, it`s just it was weird to walk into the place and be the only white people in there, everyone was staring at us and this little kid pointed at me and went yo! The best part is when we got our fortune cookies and the fortunes were all about the same being happy with nature or some kind of weird crap like that. After we ate, we had to say goodbye. After many hugs, kisses, and pictures later. They were off to Oklahoma, and we were going back home to Florida. It was an adventure all the freakin way. This is just the condensed version for you readers, since there is so much that really happened I can`t remember or write it all down for you. I really miss them all and really can't wait till October when they come back to FL. But they are going to be in PA in August for a two day music festival, and I might just be attending that. And if I hear another person call me or my sister a "groupie", I will jab their eyes out with sporks. For we are not "with" the band. We don`t follow them around to get drunk or sleep with them. We are their friends, We joke around, Hang out, Go out to eat with them, we enjoy helping them out selling merchandise, and we travel to their shows out of pure love for the band. I wouldn`t trade that for anything in the world. These guys are awesome, so come October. I better see some of you out at the shows! :)
